What a weekend!

Morning all. On Friday night I drove to Wanganui to shoot Amie and Teelle's wedding on the Saturday. We had a great day and the weather was 20 degrees and sunny, something that made Aime very happy indeed. After an 11 hour wedding shoot, I drove back to H Town, arriving back in my own bed by 1am.

We then needed to get up at 6.15am for the 7 aside Rugby Tournament in Tokoroa in which Peachgrove Intermediate were participating and our middle son Elliott. An awesome team was put together by the coaches Mr Heta and Mr Rivers, and a team that dominated all their games taking the top prize. I, frankly, could not be bothered to pick up a camera so all the shots were captured by Julie and our youngest son Isaak. I then slept the rest of Sunday.

Anyway, I better get on, got loads of editing to do and the builders are here, AGAIN doing more demolition.....

Rooms Furniture Hamilton

This afternoon I did a couple hours down at Rooms Furniture, a new retail store recently opened by leading interior designer Paula Hassard. Paula needed some images for her new website with images of all her retail work, design creations and in store furniture. It was a harder assignment than I first envisaged, but got it cracked. Next week, we have to photograph Paula herself!

Baby Stella

Last year we shot Sally and Andrew's wedding and today they popped by with their beautiful baby Stella for us to photograph. We have shot many babies over the years but Stella was a model baby, not a murmur, not even a grizzle. What an incredibly cruzy and photogenic baby.

Dolphin Clinic Product Shots

This was a small job that turned into a marathon job, photographing product bottles for Dolphin Clinic in Tauranga. It started off as 5 bottles and then the full product range of over 150 bottles, which we finished off today. Then all needed to be clear cut, a challenge in itself. Off for a strong black coffee now.

Mt Ruapehu in all its glory - New Zealand

Just had to share this image with you all, captured from a recent Helicopter ride on route to Sally and Glen's wedding 2 weeks ago.

Technical stuff - 9000ft Canon EOS 1Ds Mark II, 1/200 at F8.0, ISO 50 with my super-wide 16-35mm lens and in Program mode (slap wrists I know) as I was bricking myself about the flight - eeek.

Shona & Michael's Wedding Images

Shona & Michael's wedding images are now live, and what a joy to edit (at last). Love the silhouette images, just a perfect moment caught.

Off for a nice long black now

Greetings from one2one Photography Canada

Andy here - at one2one in Canada. Just dropped in to say "Hi" while taking a quick tea break from editing a wedding of mine. Allie & Jimmy's big day was a lot of laughs for all and really good fun - here is a picture from their engagement shoot.

Anyways - my tea is half drunk (and half cold now) so I should get back to it

Motor Truck Distributors Rotorua Shoot

What a difference a day makes in shots. We photographed in Cambridge and Rotorua, in the rain and the cold, but this allowed for radically different images. Thanks to Todd from Motor Trucks for driving me around and I look forward to seeing the 2010 calendar.

A day of meetings

Today was full on with meetings with people, one pregancy and two wedding couples plus the email system has gone mad after a few slow days. All went well and we got the bookings.....yay.

Motor Truck Distributors Auckland Shoot

A full day of shooting in and around Auckland photographing Mack Trucks for the Motor Truck Distributors Ltd 2010 calendar. We shot several trucks for their Loyal customers, all hoping to make it into the 2010 calendar.

One of those days of sheer enjoyment at having a hobby I get paid for. Another full day of shooting more customer trucks tomorrow in the Bay of Plenty.

Mark Bunting & Chris Lloyd

Just a quick commercial job today down at Classic Hits 98.6 here in Hamilton to shoot their breakfast presenters Mark Bunting and Chris Lloyd. We rattled up over 150 images in less than 25 minutes, not one serious image captured - awesome!

Look out for these new pics in up coming billboard and promo advertising.

KPMG's A Night at the Races

Well, whilst Steve and Julie were having fun at the Hillcrest School Ball in Hamilton, I was at the KPMG Ball at the Ellerslie Convention Centre in Auckland.

We had a great night, some awesome photos were captured with many of the guests dressing up for a Night at the Races. There were some wacky costumes including "Mr Red" (or Mr Ed for those of you who know your racing), a few horses, and even a Knight, get it.... A Knight at the Races..... those accountants really know how to have fun!!!! ;o)

The images were with KPMG by Monday lunchtime and they are really pleased with the result.

Well what a night we had last night with the 500+ ball go-ers at the Hillcrest School Ball. Julie and I shot all night, not 1 minute for a rest. The images will be at the school tomorrow! Thanks to all at that we 'shot'.
