Christy & Lance's Wedding in Te Kuiti, New Zealand

On Friday (the 13th of all dates) I flew to Auckland to meet clients, photograph Christy and Lance's Wedding on the Saturday and even help Steve take some pics at the Round the Bridges Run in Hamilton, Sunday.

Anyway onto Saturday. After photographing the gorgeous bride Christy at her parents' house, I journeyed on the bus along with many of the guests to the ceremony location - better than trying to find the ceremony myself I thought and an opportunity to mingle. Then it was time to photograph Christy and Lance's ceremony and take their group photos.

We returned to the Otorahanga Club for their reception after a little stop to take some more photos at the viaduct.

Here are some photos to wet your appetite guys. I will post the finished product across the Tasman in about 10 days.

Round The Bridges 2009 - Hamilton New Zealand

Yesterday Frank (my Business Partner from Melbourne) and I photographed the 2009 Hamilton Round The Bridges event for the organisers. The first image is of Frank, we worked him to the bone, lugging all the camera s and stuff! Jaclyn & Jason's Wedding at St Peter's Cathedral Hamilton

On Saturday we photographed Jaclyn and Jason's wedding at St Peter's Cathedral Hamilton. An excellent day was had by all and the bridal party photos were captured at Hamilton Gardens and Mystery Creek, the latter was their wedding reception venue.

Rebecca & Leigh's Wedding at Lawson Lodge, Macedon

On Saturday I had the pleasure of photographing another beautiful couple's wedding, Rebecca and Leigh at Lawson Lodge in Macedon, Victoria.

Bec and Leigh have been together for many years considering their tender years and they have 2 gorgeous children to prove it. Couples likes these two are loads of fun and it shows in their photos (my back is still recovering from the golf cart ride - maybe I should have drank something stronger than water after all Leigh!).

All the same, their day like the other weddings one2one completed this weekend, was picture perfect.

Frank is coming to NZ

My great friend and business partner Frank Vlahos arrives from Melbourne tomorrow to photograph Christy and Lance's wedding in Otorohanga on Saturday. He has also been hired to assist me with the 'Round The Bridges Run' on Sunday in which one2one Photography are the official photographers for the event. I will be cycling around the event, hopefully ahead of the 6 and 12km runners to capture the iconic Hamilton images.

Michelle & Mike's Wedding on Waiheke Island

And after Bec's and Harry's wedding I flew back to NZ in order to photograph Michelle and Mike's wedding yesterday at Stoney Ridge Winery on Waiheke Island. Why a wedding on a Wednesday? Yesterday was exactly 5 years to the day that they first dated, awwww bless. A very in love perfect for each other couple, both beautiful inside and out.

I was also able to enjoy their reception dinner (thanks guys) on a table with Michelle and James, a couple that I photographed their wedding a short while ago - did Michelle make me laugh!

Rebecca & Harry's Wedding in Melbourne

After Natalie and Gareth's wedding, I drove to the office uploaded their wedding images and backed them up of course, and then drove to the airport to catch my 5.10am flight to Melbourne to photograph Bec's and Harry's wedding in Rosebud, Melbourne. This was a 14 hour wedding shoot and to add to the pressure, Frank who is my business partner in Melbourne was the Best Man - eeek!

What a truly wonderful couple you both are and it was a great honour to not only be your photographer but to be present for your wedding day.

Last Saturday we shot Natalie and Gareth's wedding at Rosenvale. I had an awesome day with everyone shooting all day and night, lots of laughter and a true day to remember. Enjoy your honeymoon in Fiji guys and give us a tinkle when you get back.

Yesterday I completed a small editorial job for TomTom in Auckland for one of their clients Sheryl Wright. Sheryl is a Rural Midwife based in Huntley and TomTom have supplied the GPS device and now they are doing an article on her and how it benefits her business.

Today proud parents Janelle and Schaan swung by the studio with their beautiful 7 day old daughter Zaria. Another very placid baby indeed and although this shot is a bit cliché, it was one we all liked.

At first I thought it was a joke, they took nothing I said seriously, ignored all my direction and just did their own thing. The odd squabble between themselves (at the shoot, hehe) but a whole heap of fun was captured - and their Mum loved the shots!

Betty's 80th Birthday Party

Two Saturday's ago I was asked to take a few snaps at Betty's 80th birthday party. It was the first time in 20 years that all the family had been together and one of her daughters thought it was about time they had some proper family photos. No award winning images here but it was an important day for all and I still find it a privilege to capture families as they grow and prosper.
