I enjoyed photographing the Abundo Family a couple of weeks ago at Brighton Beach, Melbourne.

Rose, you may not have your images yet due to the postal strike. Here are a few of my favs in the meantime.

Family Photography

Recently I had the pleasure of helping to hang 8 canvas images at Jo and Loui's new home. You might remember these images from an earlier blog entry.

Well, Jo and Loui wanted to do something special with the photos we captured in September and came to one2one to discuss and design 2 canvas displays: one stand alone, large canvas and a compilation of 7 canvases.

We sourced Melbourne's best professionals to print and stretch their canvases and boy was it worth it!

Needless to say, the parents and children love their home's new artwork. The photo below is of their children looking at the largest canvas (1.5 x 1.0 m).
Well done guys.

New one2one website update

Thank you to all those participants that have provided feedback on our new website. It has been an on ongoing project for 6 months now, and when something is not really broken it has needed a tremendous amount of effort and late nights to get a better looking and better programmed website.

We only wanted the best, so thank you to Aaron our awesome and very patient Canadian web designer and the 'behind the scenes' programmers from around the globe! Your attention to detail, moving things even a pixel up and down is very much appreciated. We hope to go live in the New Year - fingers crossed.

Herwin & Craig's wedding in Auckland

On Sunday I photographed Herwin and Craig's wedding at the SDA Church in Auckland. This was a very meaningful wedding for two of life's good people, one I will remember for a long time. After the ceremony we did a 'whistle stop tour' of many, many locations around Cornwall Park finishing off at the Obelisk at the top of One Tree Hill where Craig proposed to Herwin.

Have a great festive period guys and thank you for the reception invitation to celebrate your wedding.

Michelle & Martin's wedding at Sarnia Park

On Saturday I had a great day photographing Michelle and Martin's wedding at Sarnia Park in Cambridge. The weather came good just at the right time for their lovely ceremony in the Chapel at Sarnia Park.

Congratulations guys, have a great honeymoon.

Naomi & Dricus

Well its official, yesterday I had the best job in the World photographing Naomi and Dricus' wedding. From the first time I met these two beautiful people I just knew it was going to be one magical wedding day, and it did not disappoint any of the 200+ people that attended their ceremony at Eastside Church, Hamilton.

I am still lost for words how to describe Naomi and Dricus except to say, they are 'the perfect couple', and that comes from a photographer who has shot 600+ weddings!

Naomi and Dricus, enjoy your married life together, you have both found 'the one'. Congratulations!

Michelle & Scott's Pregnancy Shots

Yesterday we met up again with Michelle and Scott who came down from Auckland to have some Maternity Images captured at 34 weeks pregnant. We photographed Michelle and Scott's wedding back in February 2007 and it was really great to catch up with them both again. Can't wait to photograph 'bump' when he/she arrives guys.

Here's a few of my fav's.

Baby Cooper Baby Portrait

This afternoon Corina and Jonny came to the studio with their 10 week old son Cooper. The boy did well and had us all in stitches right from the word off with the biggest poo I have ever seen!

Cara & Stefan's Wedding at Mystery Creek Hamilton

Well....what a day we had last Saturday at Cara & Stefan's wedding at Mystery Creek, Hamilton.

One thing I love about weddings is that they are all different, and given many of my images have a light hearted approach, this wedding was just up my street. Cara did not have Bridesmaids, she had Bridesmen, Dan and Les. Stefan also had one Groomswoman, Shelley, breaking with tradition and having friends close to them on the sides of the Bride and Groom that they wanted, you gotta love that.

Have a great time in Thailand guys, see you when you get back!

Chelsea & Chris's Wedding at Gem Pier Williamstown

Yesterday I had the pleasure of photographing Chelsea and Chris's Wedding at Gem Pier - the site Chris proposed.

Melbourne was hot and humid (38 degrees) before the southerly change came through to 'kind of' cool us down and I trust the many New Zealanders who made the journey across from Wellington were not too uncomfortable.

Chris and Chelsea, have a great honeymoon! Your photos will be posted as soon as you return.

Cheers,
Frank
